About Redloch Kennel

Redloch Kennel, located at 6712 Country Lane, Richmond, Texas, is owned by Ed and Rochelle Nagel. Redloch Kennel has been raising and showing AKC registered Irish Terriers since 1987 and has 21 champions and many well-loved pets to our credit.

Redloch Kennel breeds only Irish Terriers, breeding for excellence of conformation, breed type, temperament, and soundness. We consider each Irish Terrier in our kennel a loved family member and want to make sure that every Irish Terrier sold by Redloch Kennel is placed in a loving home.

We are committed to giving our Irish Terrier puppies the best possible start. Accordingly, AKC registration (see our links page for links to AKC registration information), current vaccinations, veterinarian examination, health guarantee, pedigree, grooming instructions, ear gluing, and written advice to the new owners about their specific Irish are included in the purchase price. We mentor all our owners for as long as they wish -- some for the life of the dog.

All our Irish Terriers are placed under a written contract. For families purchasing a pet, the agreement stipulates AKC limited registration backed up by a spay-neuter requirement. This stipulation is our sincere effort to be responsible breeders, making every effort to curb an unwanted puppy population. Occasionally we have show prospects whose ownership agreement offer full AKC registration. For those few owners who later find an Irish Terrier is not for them, even with our pre-sale screening and after sale mentoring, our agreement states that we rescue dogs of our own breeding and will find them new homes.
